Nicola is an NCTJ-qualified journalist and a non-practising solicitor. She studied law at the University of Greenwich and qualified as a solicitor in 1998, during which time she also wrote as much as possible, finally leaving legal practice in 2007 to write on the law full time.
With 20 years experience, Nicola has written for national and international newspapers, law journals, legal organisations and law firm websites - including Raconteur, LexisNexis, and The Telegraph - as well as being a published author in her own right.

Corinne McKenna is the director of The Legal Copywriting Company. As a professional legal writer, Corinne invests heavily in resources and has a full legal library at her disposal. This ensures the content she writes is legally accurate, authoritative, and up-to-date. When not writing legal copy, Corinne is working on her first novel, gardening, walking her four dogs, and reading her way through the 2000-odd books that fill her ‘Miss Marple’ cottage based in the Shropshire countryside.

Hayley worked as a solicitor for a Central London law firm for 16 years before embarking on a legal writing career. She has longstanding relationships with several national solicitors, practices and writes on a range of subject areas, including personal injury, family, corporate, property, dispute resolution and intellectual property. Hayley prides herself on distilling complex legal topics into straightforward, engaging copy.
Alongside her legal writing, Hayley runs a successful lifestyle website. She resides in leafy Cheshire, where she spends most of her free time running around after her young family.
Lucy Trevelyan LLB

Lucy is an NCTJ trained journalist, editor and lawyer. She worked on regional and national newspapers before studying law at the University of Greenwich and passing her Legal Practice Course with commendation. She then combined her journalistic and legal skills and has written about the law for more than 20 years.
A former editor of New Law Journal and Solicitors Journal and website editor of The Lawyer, she has written for a number of national and international legal journals, organisations and websites - such as the International Bar Association, The Law Society and People Management.
